Pokie Features

Wild Wishes is a 5 reels video pokie from Playtech that is played on 15 paylines and an extra 25 paylines during the free games round. The pokie is inspired by the Arabian tales about Aladdin and the magic lamp.

Wild Wishes is a medium to high variance pokie that also comes with special bonus features that can greatly boost your payouts. This includes a free spins bonus game where you can get up to 50 free games, free re-spins, and wild substitutions.

Playtech has taken great effort to carry out the Arabian Nights theme in the game’s features. This includes the music in the background, the city, and the symbols in the game. For instance, the highest paying symbols start with a boy, presumably Aladdin, as the highest paying symbol and worth 750 times your bet for landing 5 of them on a payline.

Other highly paying symbols include the princess and the villain, the cobra, and the crossed swords. These pay between 300 to 150 times for 5 on a payline.  The lower paying symbols include 5 different colored jewels in different shapes. These pay 100 to 50 times your stake for lining up 5 of them on a payline.

The genie acts as the wild symbol in Wild Wishes, which can substitute other symbols and complete winning combinations. It appears stacked on reels 2, 3, and 4 in the main game. The symbol is among the highest paying ones in the game as it also pays 750 times your stake when you line up 5 of them on the paylines.

You can also increase your chances of triggering more free games by adding an extra ten units to your wager using the feature bet option.

You can get the game in motion by hitting the Spin button. The game also comes with a handy Autoplay button that you can use to get the reels spinning up to your preferred number of times. You can also use the turbo mode option to get the reels spinning faster to save on time.

Special Bonus Features

Wild Wishes has the potential to get you big payouts when you manage to unlock its special features. This includes managing to get respins, free games, and extra wilds.

Free Games and the Feature Bet

The feature is triggered by landing on consecutive wins. Any win that you make at the base game lights up a lamp on the row above the reels and awards a free re-spin. If you manage to get a win during a respin, another lamp is lit, and a respin is given. This can continue up to 5 consecutive wins with the free spins increasing with the more consecutive wins you make. For instance,

• Lighting up 4 lamps triggers 7 free spins.
• Lighting up 5 lamps triggers 8 to 50 free spins.

During the free spins, you have a row of regular symbols instead of the lamps at the top of the reels. You, therefore, have 25 extra paylines on the screen. If you bet more per spin using the feature bet button, you increase your chances of triggering more free spins. This is because activating the feature bet mode lights up the first lamp on the top row, and you only need to light up 3 extra lamps to trigger the free games feature.

Magic Lamp Feature

Clouds of smoke from the lamps can descend on random sets of symbols and turn the symbols into random extra wilds during the free games feature. When this combines with the wins from the up to 50 free spins, you could end up with a handsome payout at the end of the round.
