Pyramidion Pokie Game Background

Ancient Egyptian history is among the most interesting themes that have been used in casino games, films, books, and animation films. Most probably, you must have come across the theme in many pokies and narratives. Interestingly, the stories tell portions of ancient Egyptian life.

For instance, the ancient Egyptian culture of burying their dead with their valuables in their tombs is of particular interest to the explorers and most people across the world. Egyptian Pyramids pokie hence takes you expressly to the sandy Egyptian pyramids where you can uncover the hidden treasures.

Pokie Features

Pyramidion is a 5 reels, 5 rows and 20 Paylines video pokie from IGT. The ancient Egyptian-themed video pokies comes with high volatility and a high RTP of 96.39%. The game also bears interesting bonus features, including special features in both the base game and the bonus round.

Just like its name suggests, the game is themed around the most important emblem of Egypt, which is the pyramid. It is therefore appropriate that its symbols and background reflect scenes from the monuments.

The symbols that can lead you to the Egyptian treasures include the theme-related symbols led by the highest paying symbols such as the Wild, which bears its name. Various emblems are bearing the usual Egyptian figures led by the blue emblem, which resembles the Egyptian Pyramidion. Others include the Red Scarab Beetle emblem, the Gold and Blue emblem resembling a cobra snake, and the Purple and Green emblems resembling various desert flowers.

The low paying symbols in Pyramidion include the card symbols, and they are presented in various colours. They include A, J, K.Q, and 10. The scatter symbols are labelled as ‘bonus’ symbols. There are also other special symbols that are responsible for delivering different features.

Special Bonus Features

Pyramidion is a pokie that will not only entertain you with its relaxing Egyptian-laden soundtrack but will also allow you to collect huge winnings as you play. This is made possible by the special casino bonus features that range from free spins to multipliers, stacked symbols, and wilds.

Free Re-spins

When two or more Pyramidions occur on the reels, they can grant you a free re-spin, which gives you an extra chance to try and form a winning combination. You may unlock various extras with this feature, starting with a random modifier to improve the payout further. This includes:

• Sunbeam Wilds, where you get a random number of wilds added to the reels and consecutively more chances to get winning combinations.
• Waterfall Stacks, where you get the reels filled with a similar symbol
• The Obelisk Wilds which grants you several wild reels
• Mighty Reel, where the middle reels are filled with a colossal 3 by 3 symbol.

Pyramidion Free Spins Feature

In addition to the special wilds that can help you create numerous winning chances, you also get free spins to increase your payouts further. These come in two forms from two different features. They include:

Tomb of Power Free Spins Feature

The feature is activated when you land scatters on reels 1 and 3 and a Tomb of Power symbol on reel 5. You initially get 8 free spins, while the power wilds meter starts at zero and keeps rising by 1 after every spin. You should look forward to bolts of lightning, which can grant a free spun and also transform a number of symbols into wilds equivalent to the ones displayed on your power meter.

Tomb of Mystery Free Spins

The feature is triggered when you land scatter symbols on the 1^st and 3^rd reels and the Tomb of Mystery symbol on reel 5. The feature adds a two times multiplier wild on reel 5, and the wild reel will keep moving over the reels.  Every time the wild reel does not move, the multiplier will keep rising. The feature ends when the wild reel has finished moving across all the reels.
